Current Value - Running (Cooh rmx) - SICK005A The already mighty original “Running” by Current Value needs no further introduction, it’s nothing surprising that it gets what it deserves by getting a Cooh rework ,one the hottest artists of the scene right now. Starting off with eerie atmospheres, the surging percussions soon let the huge stomping crushing beats explode, literally piercing us from within. Only the techno breakdown let us breathe for a few seconds before the tracks drops even harder for the remaining time. Delivering the amount of filth and energy we can easily expect from Cooh.
Vengeanze - lo parto to y no pago na - SICK005AA Less hard out than the A side and on a different vibe ,one of Spain’s finest solo act strikes again with his unique blend of techno drum n’ bass. Manic percussive elements blend with deadly relentless acid vibes to bring out a true mental stepper in every sense of the meaning.
If you like it hard and fast, this one‘s definitely for you.
Donny & Current Value – Nightmare Man ( SPL Techno Nightmare Remix ) - SICK006AThe almighty versatile producer SPL takes on the hard-hitting n’ tearing track “Nightmare Man” to bring out a techno driven remix. The track doesn’t take long to show its qualities, packed with a twisted canvas of gritty beats, sinister vocals, industrial sounds, and ruff synthlines. Another stomping ,yet progressive monster of a tune created by the impressive craftsman SPL.
Dextems & B-Soul - Harder Louder - SICK006AAHailing from Russia , the duo have already released for Intransigent, so it’s not surprising that they jump onboard the Future sickness camp for a solid release. Opening with lush strings and cheerful stabs ,the track soon turns to a darker side ,with pounding beats and ragging bass bringing out overall a nice blend of styles.
