▂ ▃ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ SELECTED DELUXE ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▃ ▂

For this one we are going to do it the other way. We'll continue with bringing quality music to the people, but this style in electronic music is something else than the styles you heard in the previous editions. The genre you will get at this party are one of the eldest genres inside the big group of electronic music: techno. You can expect a fine combination of djsets and live acts, inside the big sea of techno music. Minimal, techno, tech-house, hard techno... you name it, we got it!

✖ TROY PIERCE ( US - Items & Things )

Growing up in Indiana, right by the electronic hotspots of Detroit and Chicago, it’s no wonder Troy Pierce was infected with the dance music bug early on. Since then, he’s developed into a pillar of the modern techno community thanks to world tours, live shows, albums and EPs under a number of aliases and as part of more than one studio collective.

The Troy Pierce sound is one which has constantly veered from dense, layered and abstract to stripped down, acid infused and pulsing. His sonic palette is one that draws on a wide array of influences and reaches far outside the confines of the studio and into an otherworld entirely. Fusing techno with minimalism, darkness with light and heaviness with rhythm, this American has never been afraid to experiment in the outer regions of his vast musical universe.

✖ CLICK BOX ( BRA - Items & Things ) ▼ L I V E ▼

With a wide range of influences at work, including such electro pioneers as Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode and Orbital, 80s New Wave luminaries Joy Division, and Cabaret Voltaire, alongside the future funk of Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones and early Michael Jackson, Click Box possess the uncanny knack of extracting the best elements from a host of styles, melting them down into a white hot mass and then reshaping the results into dancefloor burners that pulsate with heart stopping basslines, explosive percussion and vicious synth-modulations. Perhaps that’s what gives their music its timeless, genre-defying flavour that should guarantee it’s still sounding as fresh as ever 10 years from now. Whatever the case, Click Box’s upcoming releases perfectly reflect the subtle shifts currently taking place within the scene.

✖ HANNE & LORE ( GER - Monaberry, Style Rockets, Sunset Handjob )

Hanne & Lore, the newcomers 2010, are hitting the clubs and fascinate with their unconventional sound on labels such as Monaberry, Style Rockets, Sunset Handjob, Terminal M, Shaker Plates or Trapez. They've been working with artists like Super Flu, Daniel Steinberg, Nat Self, Lexy & K-Paul, David Labeij, Aka Aka, Andhim and many more..Stay tuned for the upcoming releases and remixes. Hanne & Lore lately hit the charts of producers like Dubfire, Monika Kruse, Kaiserdisco or Thomas.

✖ KABALE UND LIEBE ( NL - 100% Pure, Remote Area ) ▼ L I V E ▼

Liron van Daalen, aka Kabale und Liebe has proven himself in the last few years to be one of the ambassadors of the new Amsterdam house and techno sound. Having the renowned labels 100% Pure and Remote Area as his homebase, he also founded a his own label in 2009 together with Lauhaus called SOWESO.

His tracks, such as ‘Mumbling Yeah’, ‘Makake’ and ‘Disco BZRK’ have been well received by established artists such as 2000 and One, Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Vath, Luciano and Marco Carola. His track ‘Mumbling Yeah’ was elected best of 2007 by Resident Advisor.

✖ DOUBLE U JAY ( BE - I Love Techno, Liberty White )

Keeping the true techno vibe alive, that’s what Double U Jay is all about. He was immediately fascinated by this versatile genre. It intrigued him how techno can be powerful, deep, soulful, funky, pumping, driving, melodic, dark.... all at the same time. This diversity is also easily spotted in his sets, combining housy Detroit sounds with funky tribal and hardgroove. A wide selection of tracks combined with old school skills (3 deck mixing, effects, juggling, scratching,...) make up for an energetic live performance.
