Ruby my Dear "La Mort du Colibri"
« on: June 08, 2010, 04:15:16 PM »

If I give my heart :
This first track is revisiting the sound of the American oldies from the 50's (Doris Day, Frank Weir, Bill Haley & his comets and many others...). It suggests an hallucinated walk in reworked musical universes and offers a blend of stimulating styles that, in the the end, doesn't hesitate to mix trip-hop with smooth Hawaiian guitar rhythmics.

Where’s the music :
A pure breakcore track inspired by Mowax's sound. The disjointed and carved rhythms are combined with MC voices.

Fix II :
After an intro with disturbing tones, the track takes off and leads us to a new version of scat. Some electronic-gascon-jazz inspired by the genius Lubat with a Balkan pace, reworked in a break trend. Another multiple track.

Vocation :
This track created by Ruby My Dear in 2007 has been remixed by Substance B on the net-label PEEP in 2009 (Uncanny Valley EP). Reworked by the author, it is now a schizophrenic track with apocalyptic tones that goes up and never goes down. A colliding and deconstructed rhythm stressed by a catchy melody and insane samples.
