Influenced by the early One in the Jungle and Fabio & Grooverider Drum & Bass Shows on BBC Radio 1, Hanzall ventured into mixing DnB around the year 2000. At this time, BUBBLEBEATZ crew (
www.beatz.cz ) was born. While studying in České Budějovice, he started his resident night BLACKOUT, which is now a monthly event, every 1st Wednesday at Velbloud Mighty Bar in ČB.
Then came resident nights in the club K2: KillSwitch (with guests such as Forbidden Society, Proket, Limewax, The Panacea, Eye-D, DJ Hidden) and Toxymoron (with COOH, Bifidus Aktif, Computer Artist, Equid, C.N.B. and others). His biggest promoter efforts so far were GreenUp (with Aphrodite, DJ Fresh, John B) and Therapy Sessions CZ (with Dylan & Robyn Chaos, John B, The Panacea, Audio, Counterstrike, Current Value, Katharsys, Limewax and Forbidden Society), which has now celebrated the 5th anniversary (with Audio, Donny, DJ Hidden & Eye-D and Forbidden Society).
BUBBLEBEATZ crew /BEATZ.CZ/ is also in organising the DnB stage at Muffin Open Air festival and works closely together with KOLABS Visual Artists (stage and decorations design, videoprojection).
As a DJ, Hanzall played at many places, clubs and open air events all over the Czech Republic. (Pig Fest, Let It Roll, Forbidden Society Label Night and others…)
Hanzall calls his deejay style “progressive Drum & Bass” as he tries to keep evolving and keep up with the new directions in DnB. On his musical journey, he has tried downtempo, liquid funk, atmospheric DnB, old-school jungle, ragga, jump-up, neurofunk, darkstep, techno DnB, drumstep and dubstep. His recent take on DnB is dancefloor orientated - in a crazy party vibe he's not afraid to use the hardest sound and is always trying to play as varied as possible.
Recently he's using Serato with Denon DN-HC1000S controller for the fastest mixes enriched by loops and effects.
He does regular mixes for Therapy Sessions CZ and Muffin Open Air and under the name OUT-cast, he's regularly preparing mies from the freshest DnB tunes in his collection. Visit his Soundcloud:
