[JUNGLE/DNB] Dev/Null @ Blog to the Oldskool Radio
« on: September 02, 2013, 11:10:39 AM »

Dev/Null started out working on computer music tunes in 1998-1999 while playing drums in various bands. He was influenced by labels like Ambush, Praxis, Sounds Never Seen and ACV, plus extreme underground grindcore/death metal/crust/etc. Progress was extremely slow for the first 3-4 years due to other obligations (band, school). After moving back to Boston in 2002, he started to concentrate more on making electronic music, and released split EPs on Sprengstoff Records (Germany) and Omeko Records (Japan), a full 12”EP on Violent Turd/Tigerbeat 6 (Australia/US), and a full length CD on Cock Rock Disco (US/Germany). Following these, he slowed down releases as he started to tour and play shows less frequently - a net EP of metally tracks originally intended for vinyl was released on Cock Rock Disco (“Necrobestial Sadobreaks”) in 2008. Tracks are still being written and posted by him but mostly appear on soundcloud now, though an 12”EP is scheduled for Dross:tik Records (Canada) in the near future.

is checken!
A Jungle List is known for liking what is called “Drummed and Base” music and are known for their pot and meth addictions. The term “Drummed and Base” comes from the fact that they like fast African style “tripped pops” music and smoke meth or “basing” while dancing like angry silver-back gorillas.
