EXTRA NAMES AT SINNER’S DAY
ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN replaces YELLO
THE ORB rounds off the trip
This completes the billing of the second edition of SINNER’S DAY.
YELLO (CHE) dropped out at the last minute. The Swiss band has cancelled all live dates because it wants to fully concentrate on their music and film plans. A shame, as this would have been its very first Belgian concert.
Yello will be replaced by an equally valid headliner. ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN (GB) is New Wave royalty. The British band credibly combines commercial success with an urge to innovate. In 2002, British magazine Q gave the band an Inspiration Award for its major influence on later generations. Well-known songs include ‘Rescue’, ‘The Back Of Love’, ‘The Cutter’, ‘The Killing Moon’ and ‘Seven Seas’.
The day’s concluding bands have also been determined.
• THE ORB (GB) will round off the Main Stage in style. The collective round Alex Paterson affects mind and hips and will ensure a fantastic landing.
