Blush Response - Live @ Rituals
Blush Response is Joey Blush, Berlin Based Cuban-American artist and sound designer. His music is characterized by a modular synth heavy approach to sound design, combining rough, glitch-heavy beats with thick, distorted synths to create a sound that blurs the lines between electronic genres. Blush cut his teeth doing programming work for artists such as Fear Factory, Rhys Fulber, Cristian Castro, and as a touring member of Joey Jordison (Slipknot)'s alternative rock project Scar the Martyr. He has released six albums to date, We Are Replicants (2010, self released), Tension Strategies (2013, Basic Unit Productions / Tundra) and Desire Machines (2014, Desire), Night Of The Machines Live (self released, 2015), Reshaper (Ant-Zen, 2016) y Rebirthed In The Sprawl (Total Black, 2016). His two last EPs for aufnahme + wiedergabe, Future Tyrants y Body Architect, has put him definitely under the focus. A singularity in the actual underground scene who comes to Trauma to present his live for first time in Spain. The stuff that this guy can offer with a modular and two Elektron is within reach of very few today.
