Kontakt -> external midi
« on: April 11, 2009, 03:15:18 PM »
Hi there,

I want to use Kontakt in Fruityloops

I add Kontakt to a channel in Fruityloops. And in kontakt I add some samples
I can play the samples but it seem I can only play them thru that 1  Kontakt channel by entering ranges for each samples + the root?  Eg. c5 = kick, d5 = snare. But like this it's rather impossible to pitch them up or down as I want.

My question is how to use multiple channels (midi out?) in fruityloops to trigger samples in Kontakt

like:
midi out1 = kick
midi out2 = snare
...

Thanks in advance

choose port (right upperside) in kontakt
+add sample -> choose channel

add midi out channel in FL: choose port + channel

too easy!

but i'm still looking how to route the samples to a different mixer channel in fruityloops so i can add external fx

Go to fruity wrapper -> Enable multiple outputs
