Ken Ishii is among the most innovative, experimental composers in contemporary techno and is being regarded as one of the Japanese pioneers whose creation is on a world standard.

Although working in and drawing from a decidedly dancefloor-oriented, Detroit-derived framework, Ishii's exploration of avant-garde compositional techniques like chromaticism and the prominent influence of digital synthesis figures him as strongly deviant from Motor City aesthetic tradition.

Tom's current releases are oriented in the same way his musical taste changes : intelligenter way of drum programming with flavors of techno, minimal and tekhouse. You can expect dj-sets with dedication and filled with energy, as known from his live-sets, to give his fans the pleasure of clubbing! For us of course, he'll also bring his old records and bang them trough te speakers of Petrol.

Having played at numerous parties such as : Liberty White, The Qontinent festival, SuburbSoundz Hardtechno, Cherry Moon, City Parade, we are thrilled to welcome these guys.
