white lab coatthe reason luke put together this beuaty is to whip the nation into a state of frenzy before BANG FEST explodes on the august bank holiday weekend. the festival is the latest event from the bang face phenomenon that started back in 2003 and has grown at a rate beyond exponential - from the early days of public life, through stints at medicine bar and electrowerkz, onto pontins cambersands and now alighting at the jacobean somerleyton estate.
aimed at revellers who like to rave on the dark side of the bassline, bang face popularity stems from the irreverant lack of ego present wherever they set up shop. their events have seen pool parties, giant inflatables and an official guinness world record for the world’s largest glow stick (2.2 metres since you ask).
there also the small matter of the music which also keep bodies coming in their droves. over the 24 hours of bang fest you can catch speed dealer moms, ragga twins, sl2, dj pinch, bass clef, king cannibal, mr vibert, saint acid & the bang face hard crew and many many more.
