19/12/15 NOISEFEST VI @ De Kreun, Kortrijk

ODS WIL (NL)

Industrial Power Electronics from The Netherlands biggest (and largest) noise fan. Traveling around the world visiting noisefests, Wil finally comes out of the closet.

ZYRTAX (NL)

Industrial noise from the head honcho of Dead Mind Records. Active since 2003 and inspired by old school kings such as SPK, Esplendor Geometrico and Maurizio Bianchi. Has cooperated with great noise acts such as Contagious Orgasm, Dave Phillips, and Government Alpha.

ISAAC (BE)

K-Town's Pol Isaac. Nuff said. Y'all know him. Think Tim Hecker, Fennesz.

CLAMOR (NL)

Absolutely new primitive filthy power electronics project from Kevin Svartvit and the drummer in his hardcore band QUALM. A loud uproar, as from a crowd of people.

SISTO ROSSI (DE)

Sisto is perhaps best known for his wall noise under the moniker Wallkeeper. However, he also dabbles in harsh noise, drone, minimalist HNW, and power electronics under a variety of aliases such as: Forecast, Hatred, Colony Collapse, Earth Chaos, Houses in Texas, and more recently performing under his own name.

>>> AR115: Sisto Rossi

AM NOT (UK)

AM NOT is a Death industrial project operating in North London. The project began in 2010 and soon found support in Unrest Productions who have released all the material to date. AM NOT’s small discography comprises of 1 tape “First Morbid vibrations” (2011) and the newly released full length album “Unpunished.” Drawing on a broad range of musical, historical and visual influences AM NOT aims to produce a soundtrack and visuals incorporating strong subject matter and audio visual aggression in order to attack, criticise and question as well as providing catharsis through noise worship.

>>> AM NOT - BEWARE THE BLACK PERIL

EDGE OF DECAY (FIN)

Lesser known but very promising Finnish harsh noise artists from Joensuu city. Somewhere near Knurl and Richard Ramirez direct and raw harsh noise without much editing or gimmicks. Harsh and fierce industrial noise.

>>> EDGE OF DECAY - RUOSTEISELLA MORALLA

ARV & MILJÔ (SE)

Arv & Miljö ‎is a solo project from Swedish noise artist Matthias Anderson, who is otherwise known for his work in Heinz Hopf, but most of all as the founder of the once-seminal and now sadly defunct Swedish experimental label Release the Bats. With "Kropp", his latest work released on Posh Isolation, he has elected to pull back his harsh approach to noise in order to structure something far more organic and almost painfully realistic. With field recordings and extremely minimalist electronic ‘orchestration’ as the meat on the bones of this album, Kropp feels more like a sonic diary as it tells the story of one man’s harsh human struggle.

>>> Arv & Miljö - Instruktioner För Män

NEUTRAL (SE)

Sofie Herner (Källarbarnen, Leda) and Dan Johansson (Sewer Election, Heinz Hopf, Attestupa and lots of other projects) were responsible for one of thé records of the year 2014 with their debut album "Grå Våg Gamlestaden". Neutral is the sound of urban decay, a testimony about the dark sides of the city of Goteborg. The guitar noise, tape loops, a distorted trumpet and intriguing spoken word vocals by Sofie and Dan already made quite an impression on the visitors of this year's Kraakfest.

>>> NEUTRAL Jalusie

DAMIEN DUBROVNIK (DK)

We usually don't put an act ton the bill hat has already played Noisefest before. In the case of Damien Dubrovnik, the Danish masters of feedback, you will allow us an exception to that rule. Loke Rahbek and Christian Stadsgaard, co-owners of the renown Posh Isolation label in Copenhagen, are more active than ever and with their latest LP "Vegas Fountain", they have delivered their best work to date. Combining spoken word and hellish moans, synth drones and ambient textures collapsing into powerful layers of noise, Damien Dubrovnik is probably the best you can get out of the European noise scene.
