After MANY v e r y prolonged delays & after MANY e x t r e m e l y elongated waits, here is Junglecorps Volume Two. A various artist compilation displaying more leftfield, underground, inventive, often increasingly abstract or hard or difficult styles – often subtly brilliant below the surface of the obvious styles, as well.
After such a prolonged delay and with not many plans for the future of the label, we opted for a raw as-is compilation of tunes; received exactly as they were submitted and assembled in what we feel is the most appropriate order. It’s a little rough around the edges, it’s a little cheeky middle finger in the air as a nod to “who knows whats next!?” punk rock mentality and autonomous living that has sort of always bubbled under the surface of the label. Related, some of these tracks have appeared elsewhere since original submission, some have gone under revisions. Regardless, we think it still stands as a great release and potential comma for the label, as a whole.
Huge respect to every artist we have had the pleasure of working with. If we don’t see you again, we appreciate the support over the years. If we decide to get messy again, we’ll be sure to build a house with y’all once again! This is family, community, and Bludclot would have never been anything without it.
