Here we are with the first addition to our battle.

We are proud to announce our Drill sergeant for the third and final Drillogy chapter.
He is part of the famous Exit23, Analog Tecnè Model and MackiTek Records.
For us the absolute master within the acid/mental genre from Belgian soil, he goes by the name:

Sevenum Six!

At the the age of 17 Sevenum Six fell in love with the production of music. Inspired by the free party scene he started making some hardtek beats in Fruity Loops.
After a while of messing arround he dicided he wanted to bring his music to the crowd so he changed to Ableton Live.
To make his sound more complete he added some hardware to his setup like the korg EMX, EAMK2, a Mopho and some midi controllers. By searching deeper into the world of hardware he discovered the magic sound of the TB303.
Meanwhile over the years his sound evolved, getting more dark and mental.
After 3 years he became a well known artist in the free party scene and played at parties all over the Netherlands, France and Belgium. Doing this he got the chance to spread his sound in many places. As a result he got his first vinyl release in 2011 and many to follow...
By getting involved with vinyl he also wanted to play them so he bought himself 2 turntables and the shit was really on !!
Today Sevenum Six is actively working on bringing you an original sounding liveset and fresh vinylmixes.

Hi Schtampfers

It is time to add some national allies to our troops for the third battle.
You may remeber these two heroes from the closing set at the last Retro Acid..
We present to you:

A-TeK vs Bion-X (BE)

Bion-x was hooked on the powerful TB-303 sounds after going to several acid raves in the late 90’s.
Around the year 2000 he bought his first decks and Bion-x was born. He quickly became a well-known concept in the Flemish acid music scene.
He was involved in parties as ‘Mental Destruction’ in the legendary location ‘Hangaar 64’ in Ostend and was part of the ‘Crack-Attack’ crew who organized their parties at the ‘Rector’ in Ghent.
In 2006 Bion-x started to make his own typical sound that nowadays has become his trademark due to his legendary live sets.
Meanwhile he has played at several well-known parties such as The Qontinent, Acid Sounds, Elements Festival, Pounders, Retro acid, DDM soundsystem and many free parties.

A-TeK :
This young talent was born and raised in Bruges city! The man bought his first Yamaha RM1X groovebox in 2007 and started making Hard-tek tunes , a few grooveboxes later he fell in love with the sound of the tb-303, then he started producing mentaltekno/acidtekno/acidcore.
In 2010 he joined the DDM soundsystem crew and a year later he joined Kweetniewatt soundsystem, this is when he started playing his livesets.
A year later he was a well know artist in the Belgian underground party scene.
In 2012 he also started playing for the Destroyed Records label and this year his first record will be released on the Narcosis label!
His style variates from acid to acidcore, always with his typical sound involved. Hard kicks ans squirting acidlines is what you can expect from this man!
He played at several big parties such as: Acid Sounds, Pounderz, Retro Acid, Narcosis, Mayhem, AcidRave , DDM parties and lots of freeparties.

NEW ACTS ANNOUNCED



Here we are again, this time with an international guest.
This man, a well known artist in the scene, travels all the way from Poland to join our troops.

We are proud to announce:

LEHU

In 2003 he discovered underground electronic music gatherings in Poland.
A year later he joined Hcc, a collective organizing free rave parties in his home town.
From that day foward, he was constantly active in the Polish free party scene.
First the man was making graphics, flyers, deco, ... Later on, he started to spin some records, which were slowly filling his case.
After few years on his journey into sound, he decided to try make his own tracks, and in 2011 he started to perform live.
Always trying to create sounds out of the ordinary…
He always prefered darker, more mechanical, noisy type of sound, sometimes deep, sometimes impulsive… Mental influenced for sure!
He is experimenting, searching, self learning… By trial and error, slowly started to evolve… To the great master he is nowadays!

Mille was born in Belgium, October 1990. Growing up in a family full of musicians, he was weird enough not directly interessed in playing acoustic music.
When he was a kid the only thing he wanted to do was play football all day long with his friends.
After some years of going to free parties and Teknivals, Mille got inspired by the free tekno and acid music. From that moment on he was hooked.
So at the end of 2012 he bought his first decent laptop and started producing with Ableton live, a bit later he bought a xoxbox and the Korgs EA-1 & ER-1 to put some more analog flavour to his sound.
By trying to put several styles and accents he likes into his music, he tried to spread his own sound. Step by step …
Nowadays he’s mainly focussed on acid, tekno and techno music. Mille is also co founder of the Acid infection crew and a member of DDM sound system.

In 2013, after some live jam sessions with BrainzZ, they decided to also perform live together. Nowadays they bring you a banging freestyle live acidtekno set!

The man discovered the underground tekno scene pretty early thanks to the free parties and Teknivals organised in eastern France.
Some time later he began to make mental hardtek, followed by a pumpin touch also with a mental influence using the sound system "Les Enfants Du Son", which is still active today.
Music has allowed him to meet and connect with a whole musical world and to travel all over Europe playing in clubs, free parties, squats, Teknivals, warehouses and all sorts of unusual places in France, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, England, Austria, The Netherlands, Spain, Luxemburg and Belgium.
He got the chance to be able to release about 30 vinyls, mostly with Freestyle Listen, but also with Mackitek, Lxr Records, Astrofonik, Les Oreilles Libres , Old Skull , Melting Bass , Underground Tekno, Tek Over, Tactical Synopsis etc ...

Shmirlap started to get interested in electronic music in 2002, first with vinyl decks but he was quickly touched by a powerful attraction for creation and live sets.
In 2005, he tried out the Sound System Oblyk Dfroke, which became his new family and with who he organize free parties all around Europe.
He started with oriented Tribe and Hardtechno, his creations and live sets are nowadays clearly looking to the mental Acidcore and Acidtechno way, with crazy loud kicks and acid basslines.
By the way, some of his tracks are available on vinyl on Agora 02 and Wojtek 01.
He is still eager to discover new feelings and new musical vibes and a new project will come in a few months…

Robbert Latumahima, is a pioneer from the Dutch undergound. Robbert started out as Hybrid Systems back in 1996. He was a part of the Mononom collective as well and continued the Mononom recordlabel for releasing his own productions until 1999, changing name to Sensory Overload around that time.

As a musician he sets himself apart with his minimalistic, industrial rhythms and deep spheric sounds. Robbert performs throughout Europe, ran his own label (Sensory Overload Records) and his productions have appeared on labels like Team Wasted, Neurotrope, Xpdigiflex, Club Craft and Eat Concrete
